1... CONVENIENT SHEDDERS:
If our dogs would only shed in one piece I could start wearing dark clothing
again!
2... BEAUTIFUL: Each
snake is a beauty by itself, but like butterflies they come in every possible
color and size!
3... CLEAN: How many
pets can you name that defecate weekly???
4... EASY ON THE EARS:
A very quiet pet! Although I have met a couple that could wake the dead
with their hissing!
5... EASY TO MAINTAIN:
We feed our snakes generally ever 7-14 days sometimes longer and we clean
each enclosure weekly. Need I say more?
6... AWE INSPIRING:
That any animal can flourish without external limbs amazes me! Yes, I like
worms too.
7... HYPOALLERGENIC:
No, I don't have allergies, but I know a lot of people that do! And I have
yet to meet someone that is allergic to snakes. I am sure there are a few
out there but not many!
8... PERSONABLE:
Yes, I said personable. Each snake is truly unique in its responses to
human interaction. Scoff if you will, but I do believe that snakes have
personality. Meet a few and you may agree with me!
9... GRACEFUL: There
is nothing more meditative than a snake on the move. I can sit and watch
for hours and hours. Aaaaaaaaaaaah... so soothing.
10... ENCHANTING:
The snake has been a cernterpiece in Mythology and Religion for thousands
of years. Whether as a symbol of God, Regeneration, Magic or as a personification
of Evil, the snake evokes awe and admiration for us all.
